Wix.com Launches Automatic Facebook Ad Creation Tool Giving SMBs Easy-to-Use Promotional Capabilities via the Wix ShoutOut Product

New Integration Simplifies Creating & Launching Facebook Advertising Campaigns by Automatically Repurposing Content From Wix's Newsletter Product

TEL AVIV, Israel, July 14, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Wix.com Ltd. (Nasdaq:WIX), the global web development platform, today announced new product integration between its newsletter and promotional product, Wix ShoutOut and Facebook Ads. The integration is the result of a Wix and Facebook collaboration geared towards providing Wix users a streamlined and simplified way to launch Facebook campaigns from the Wix platform.

A key product within the Wix platform, Wix ShoutOut enables users to easily create, send and share professional newsletters and updates. Users can customize ready-made styles with their own texts, images and video, or use content available in the Wix platform's free media library. Since launching in July 2014, Wix Shoutouts have been shared with millions of users' contacts, and an analysis of their traffic revealed that the highest engagement rate came from social media shares.

The goal of the new collaboration with Facebook is to allow users to maximize their reach by easily creating and launching Facebook advertising campaigns. The new integration automatically creates Facebook Page-post ads from the content and images of the user's ShoutOut. The campaign's target audience is automatically set using Facebook's Lookalike targeting, helping the user reach an audience that's similar to people who have liked their Facebook Page. Users then can customize the ad, configure the campaign targeting and set its budget, all from within the Wix ShoutOut dashboard. Upon launching a new Facebook advertising campaign, users monitor and manage their campaign from the Facebook interface.

"The WixShoutOut integration with Facebook's advertising platform and its unparalleled reach, provides our users an effective cross-channel marketing tool and a simplified gateway into a massive new audience," said Wix CMO, Omer Shai. "Over a million people have already used Wix ShoutOut to create and share beautiful content. Now they'll have the option to make their valuable content work for them multiple times and promote their business even further."

"Wix and Facebook are both seeking to make marketing simpler and more efficient for global businesses of all sizes," said Steve Irvine, Global Head of the Facebook Marketing Partner program. "Our partnership will allow Wix ShoutOut users to extend the reach of their email marketing campaigns to Facebook in just a few clicks, getting their content in front of the people who matter most to their businesses."
