Country Music Hall of Famer, Don Williams, Will Perform Live at Ameristar Kansas City Nov. 12


KANSAS CITY, Mo., Aug. 6, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ameristar Casino Hotel Kansas City welcomes Country Music Hall of Famer, Don Williams, to the award-winning Star Pavilion 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12. With hundreds of memorable songs in his repertoire—more than fifty of them major hits—Don performs country standards like "Good Ole Boys Like Me," "Till the Rivers All Run Dry," "It Must be Love," "I'm Just a Country Boy," "Amanda" and "I Believe in You." He also had a hit duet with Emmylou Harris on Townes Van Zandt's "If I Needed You." Don was the CMA Male Vocalist of the Year in 1978; his "Tulsa Time" was the ACM Record of the Year for 1979.

Williams released his latest CD, "Reflections," last year transcending genres and generations with soon-to-be-classic-hits like "I Won't Give up on You," "Healing Hands" and "Back to the Simple Things." Williams also released the studio album, "And so it Goes," in 2012 with the title song "And so it Goes," "Better than Today," and "Imagine That" performed with Keith Urban.
