Landsvirkjun signs a new ISK Revolving Credit Facility


Landsvirkjun, The National Power Company of Iceland, signed today a seven year syndicated loan amounting to 12 billion Icelandic kronur (equivalent to about 93 million USD). The loan is a revolving credit facility that Landsvirkjun can draw and repay as needed. The facility replaces an older facility from 2011.

Arrangers and lenders were Arion bank, Islandsbanki and Landsbanki with equal share of 4 billion Icelandic kronur each. Islandsbanki is facility agent on behalf of Landsvirkjun.

The purpose of the facility is to give Landsvirkjun sure access to liquidity in Icelandic kronur.
