MTG completes the sale of its Hungarian free-TV channels


MTG has today completed the sale of its Hungarian free-TV operations, comprising
the channels VIASAT3 and VIASAT6 and the catch-up service Viasat Play, to Sony
Pictures Television (SPT) Networks, following the receipt of regulatory approval
by the Hungarian competition authority.
The operations will be deconsolidated from MTG’s accounts from 1 November. Any
net effect from the transaction will be reported as a non-recurring item in
MTG’s income statements.
