At 2 p.m. on Veterans Day, Ward Shaw, Ameristar St. Charles vice president and general manager, will present a check for almost $11,000 to U.S. VETS St. Louis on Ameristar's Streetscape near Pearl's Oyster Bar. The check represents team member pledges made during Ameristar's annual workplace giving campaign and matching funds made by Ameristar's parent company, Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc. William "Bill" Wallace, executive director and Michael Pierce, case manager, will accept the check on behalf of U.S. Vets St. Louis.
