DEINOVE IS INCLUDED IN THE 40 HOTTEST SMALL COMPANIES IN THE ADVANCED BIOECONOMY FOR 2015-16

DEINOVE is the leading French company in this ranking and the second in Europe

Montpellier, 5 November 2015 - DEINOVE (Alternext Paris: ALDEI), a biotech company developing innovative processes for producing biofuels and bio-based chemicals by using Deinococcus bacteria as host strains, announces today that it took the 19th spot in the "40 Hottest Small[1] Companies in the Advanced Bioeconomy" that will make great contributions to the global bio-economy. The ranking was announced during the ABLC NEXT 2015 conference held in San Francisco from 2 to 5 November.

The TOP 40 recognizes emerging companies, mostly American, for their innovation and achievements in biofuels, biobased chemicals and materials. It is based 50 percent on votes from an invited panel of renowned international guests, and 50 percent on votes from readers of the Biofuels Digest (world's most widely-read advanced bioeconomy daily).

"Being the leading French company in this ranking and the second one in Europe is an honor. This recognition is even more significant because it stems from the choice of experts and an informed and international audience in our sector. We have great ambitions for DEINOVE and intend to demonstrate that this ranking reflects a reality that will be implemented in the coming years," says Emmanuel Petiot, CEO of DEINOVE.
