World Education.net to Provide Quarterly Spouse Scholarships through Partnership with the National Military Family Association

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- World Education.net and the National Military Family Association (NMFA), a nonprofit that works to strengthen and protect military families, are teaming up to give military spouses the opportunity to earn exclusive scholarships for career training.

World Education.net's mission is to provide the highest quality career training to help adult learners get the skills needed to achieve professional success. Working with accredited, nationally recognized colleges and universities, World Education.net has helped numerous military spouses achieve their educational goals. Through this special partnership with NMFA, World Education.net aims to expand those opportunities to spouses by offering career training scholarships on a quarterly basis.

"We are excited to be working with World Education.net," said Joyce Raezer, NMFA Executive Director. "Military families move a lot—which makes finishing a degree or certification difficult. World Education.net's commitment to expanding military family opportunities means more spouses will have a chance to get a job to make life better for their families."

The scholarships will be awarded at the end of each quarter and will be valued at up to $3,500 per student. World Education.net scholarships are a joint effort with four of their partner schools: North Carolina State University, University of Oklahoma, University of South Alabama, and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Students will have the opportunity to choose from over 500 in-demand career training programs, many of which lead to national certification. To be eligible for these scholarships, military spouses need to register through the NMFA website. To learn more, please contact World Education.net today.
