USHCC Announces New Members of the Board of Directors


WASHINGTON, Nov. 19, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) proudly announces the appointment of three industry-leading entrepreneurs, Betty Manetta, President and CEO of Argent Associates and Asociar LLC; Monika Mantilla, President and CEO of Altura Capital and Managing Partner of Small Business Community Capital; and Rosa Santana, CEO and President of Integrated Human Capital and Forma Automotive, to its Board of Directors.

The USHCC is delighted to appoint three exemplary leaders, Betty, Monika, and Rosa to its Board of Directors. Their groundbreaking achievements as prominent women in business will help guide the future of the association. As the USHCC evolves, its Board of Directors continues to serve as a reflection of the extraordinary diversity of America's small business community. Betty Manetta is President and CEO of Argent Associates, a supply chain company that provides managed services across technology eco-systems. These services include creating new technology, distribution, engineering and installation, decommissioning, and the recycling of technology. Under Manetta's leadership, Argent Associates has evolved from a start-up into a multi-business unit company. Argent has offices across the United States and customers spanning from Fortune 500 companies to Government and Mid-Cap markets, including Alcatel-Lucent, AT &T, and General Electric.  Betty also founded Asociar, a global Virtualization and Integration company. Asociar offers pre-configured servers, cabinets, data storage and enclosures, which include power, access control, cooling, and monitoring solutions to corporate and service providers. Manetta was born in Argentina and grew up in New Jersey. 

Monika Mantilla is President and CEO of Altura Capital, an investment management firm that provides institutional investors with customized manager-of-managers investment solutions, investment advisory, and research services. Under her leadership, Altura has become a nationally recognized leader and innovator in the emerging money manager space. Mantilla also serves as Managing Partner of Small Business Community Capital (SBCC), a Small Business Investment Company (SBIC) Impact Fund that provides customized capital solutions to small and midsized companies. SBCC is one of the few Hispanic-led and Latina-managed SBIC funds in the history of the U.S. Small Business Administration. Mantilla was born and raised in Colombia before moving to New York.
 
Rosa Santana is the CEO and President of Integrated Human Capital, an international human resources and staff management company offering human capital solutions to medium size businesses and Fortune 500 companies throughout the U.S. and Mexico, including Johnson Controls and Dell. She also founded Forma Automotive, through which she won a historic contract this year as the first female Hispanic Direct Tier 1 supplier in Toyota's history to assemble Tacoma truck beds in San Antonio. Santana was born in Mexico and grew up in Texas.
