Aerojet Rocketdyne Welcomes Jerry Tarnacki as Vice President, Quality and Mission Assurance


SACRAMENTO, Calif., Nov. 30, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Aerojet Rocketdyne, a subsidiary of Aerojet Rocketdyne Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AJRD), announced today that Jerry Tarnacki joined the company as vice president of Quality and Mission Assurance. Tarnacki will be based out of the West Palm Beach, Florida facility.

Tarnacki brings 30+ years of diverse leadership experience in the aerospace and defense industry through the U.S. Air Force, General Electric Aircraft Engines, and United Technologies Corporation's Pratt & Whitney division.

In his 12 years with Pratt & Whitney, Tarnacki served in a variety of executive positions, most recently as vice president of Aftermarket Services. Tarnacki previously served as vice president of Manufacturing Operations; vice president of Quality, Competitive Excellence, Environmental, Health & Safety; and vice president of Global Repair Services.

During a 12-year career with General Electric Aircraft Engines, Tarnacki served as a customer satisfaction executive; supply chain executive; Six Sigma Master Black Belt; and materials engineering manager.

In his early career, Tarnacki served eight years active duty with the U.S. Air Force as a program manager in the areas of materials and propulsion. He continued to serve in the Air Force Reserve, retiring in 2002 as lieutenant colonel.
