This holiday season, Clifton Park Veterinary Clinic gives back to the community by supporting the Quest for Grace Foundation, a charitable organization that serves New York’s Capital Region. Throughout December 2015, in particular, pet owners who bring in a toy valued at $15 or more to the Ballston Lake veterinary practice will receive a voucher for 20-percent off any service that they can use in 2016.

The clinic’s veterinarian, Dr. Kelly Cooper, and her staff are excited to be able to give back to the community at large. “As a native New Yorker and business owner in the Capital Region, I am proud to be able to help our community in any way I can. This holiday season, my team and I are supporting the Quest for Grace Foundation, an organization that provides clothes and other needed items to Foster children in the area,” says Dr. Cooper.

About the Quest for Grace Foundation

Founded in 2005, the Quest for Grace Foundation helps Foster children in the Capital Region of New York by providing them with clothing and other needed items. The charitable organization was established on the premise that “every child is a gift.” Their overarching mission is to let Foster children—many of whom have suffered from abuse or neglect—know that people care about them.

About Clifton Park Veterinary Clinic

Led by Dr. Cooper, a friendly and experienced Ballston Lake veterinarian, the team at Clifton Park Veterinary Clinic offers a full range of veterinary services, from routine and preventative care to wellness plans for adult pets. Originally founded as Country Knolls Animal Hospital by Dr. Gerard Bogaard in 1976, the veterinary practice and animal hospital is well known and respected throughout the community. Dr. Cooper purchased the practice in 2008 and has being continuing the practice’s tradition of excellence ever since.

Since taking over Clifton Park Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Cooper has made several improvements to the practice, including installing an in-house laboratory, digital radiography and electronic medical records. Thanks to these, Dr. Cooper and her team are able to evaluate blood, x-rays and other tests extremely quickly, helping ease the discomfort that sick pet patients often experience.

By helping to control pets’ pain and discomfort and offering compassionate care, Dr. Cooper and her team are able to provide the best possible care to their feline and canine patients as well as to their families. At Clifton Park Veterinary Clinic, the group’s mission is simple and unwavering: to provide compassionate and quality care to pet owners’ animal companions.
