This article depicts how important it is for cars of the future to rely on lightweight composite materials to reduce their weight and increase their efficiency and mileage. It's also important to note that none of the cars featured in the article had a complete carbon fiber body, they only replaced certain parts of the cars such as roofs and doors with a variety of lightweight materials.
