CHANGES IN MARIMEKKO’S MANAGEMENT

Marimekko Corporation and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and member of the Management Group, Lasse Lindqvist, have mutually agreed that Lasse Lindqvist will step down from his position on 15 June 2016. At the same time, the company will adjust the focus of the key marketing operations to better support Marimekko’s global retail driven business.

Marimekko will initiate a recruitment process for a new CMO. During the recruitment process, Marimekko’s Chief Sales Officer (CSO) Päivi Lonka will be heading the company’s marketing organization in close collaboration with Creative Director Anna Teurnell.
