MUNICH, Germany, June 28, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ramboll has acquired specialist chemical, product, health, sustainability and environmental performance consultancy BiPRO, merging it into its global Environment and Health practice Ramboll Environ.
Based in Munich, Germany with a staff of 40-strong, BiPRO business specialises in policy-setting and development, helping governments and bodies such as European Union and United Nations form environmental legislation and understand its impact. BiPRO also provides strategic consulting services to industrial and chemicals clients on assessing the impact of chemicals on human health, compliance with European legislation and sustainable innovation.
Its acquisition follows a close collaboration between Ramboll Environ’s Product Safety and Stewardship team and BiPRO over the past few years on a large number of strategic projects, including 15 REACH authorisations.
