Knicks Summer League games and Knicks Night Live will be available on MSG GO
NEW YORK, June 28, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MSG Network’s coverage of the New York Knicks heats-up this summer, beginning with “Knicks Night Live,” a four-part series that debuts this Thursday, June 30 on the eve of the NBA’s free agency period. In addition, MSG will deliver live coverage of the Knicks Summer League team at the Orlando Pro Summer League, with the first game scheduled for Saturday, July 2. “Knicks Night Live” and Knicks Summer League coverage, presented by Hospital for Special Surgery, will also be available live on MSG GO.
“Knicks Night Live” will air on MSG Network at 8:00 pm on four consecutive Thursdays – June 30, July 7, July 14 and July 21 and will be hosted by Al Trautwig with Alan Hahn and Wally Szczerbiak. The show will take an in-depth look at NBA free agency and the Knicks’ acquisitions, and analyze the 2016-17 team.
MSG Network, which has been covering the Knicks Summer League team since 2005, will telecast every 2016 Knicks Summer League game from Orlando, Florida, beginning with the team’s first game on Saturday, July 2 at 3:00 pm ET. All Summer League games on MSG will telecast live, followed by an encore presentation later that evening.
Knicks Telecasts from the Orlando Pro Summer League will feature MSG’s Knicks analyst and NBA legend Walt “Clyde” Frazier, along with play-by-play announcer Mike Crispino.
New York will play five games with games scheduled to be held at the Orlando Magic practice court at the Amway Center.
