ManTech Awarded $110 Million for CDM Task Orders to Provide Cybersecurity Cloud Solutions and Combat Advanced Cyber Threats

HERNDON, Va., Aug. 10, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ManTech International Corporation (Nasdaq:MANT) has been awarded two task orders by the General Services Administration Federal Acquisition Service (GSA FAS) on behalf of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to provide cybersecurity and cloud solutions to combat cyber threats.

The first task order, known as Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) and Continuous Monitoring as a Service (CMaaS) for Group F Phases 1 and 2 Implementation, was awarded under the GSA Alliant Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) vehicle. The value of the CDM CMaaS Group F task order is approximately $25 million, with a period of performance that includes 1 base year and 2 option years. As part of the CDM CMaaS Group F task order, ManTech will provide CDM services to multiple federal agencies, in addition to consolidated reporting to the Federal CDM Dashboard, leveraging a sophisticated cloud solution. Ultimately, ManTech will deliver a unique cybersecurity platform to bring CDM solutions to 44 agencies, providing the government with unparalleled visibility into the security of federal networks.

The second task order, known as Privileged Access Management (PRIVMGMT), was awarded under the CDM CMaaS Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) and GSA IT Schedule 70 contract.  The value of the PRIVMGMT task order is $85 million with a period of performance of 2 years. As part of PRIVMGMT, ManTech will support objectives for privileged access management driven by the 2015 Cyber Sprint and the White House’s Cybersecurity Strategy and Implementation Plan (CSIP) to combat cyber threats. This task order provides a unique opportunity to implement advanced tools to manage privileged access to critical information across federal agencies directly defending against insider threats.

“Controlling access to critical information and establishing a secure cloud environment is essential for protecting our federal agencies from insider and emerging threats,” said L. William Varner, president of ManTech’s Mission, Cyber & Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) Group. “ManTech has developed multiple cybersecurity measures over the years to combat these threats, and our team looks forward to supporting this important federal initiative.”
