Dr. McMahan stays busy in her free time with hobbies that include hiking, spending time in the Great Smoky Mountains, attending live music events, water sports and traveling. In addition to serving emergency animal needs at Emergency Animal Hospital of Northwest Austin, she cares for her rescue dog named Sable and participates in volunteer veterinary trips.

“I am excited to start this new direction in my veterinary career by serving pets and owners in and around the Austin area,” said Dr. McMahan. “As a pet owner, I know how important it is to provide sick and injured pets the quality veterinary services they need. I look forward to offering effective and compassionate urgent care at the Emergency Animal Hospital.”
