Optimal Health Spine & Wellness Announces Full Time Staff Chiropractors, Dr. John Chevigny and Dr. Nicole Leshaw

NORMANDY PARK, Wash., Oct. 16, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Experienced sports and rehabilitation chiropractors, Drs. John Chevigny and Nicole Leshaw have joined the clinic full-time, shares Optimal Health Spine & Wellness. They are part of the experienced team at Optimal Health Spine & Wellness and have unique and successful personal experiences with chiropractic which enables them to better support a wide variety of patient needs.

Dr. John Chevigny obtained his doctorate from Southern California University of Health Sciences after undergraduate studies at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. He became aware of the benefits of chiropractic care when needing help for his own sports-related back injury and now enjoys working with athletes from the high school level to professional level ensuring their health. He uses chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue work, functional tape, and exercise to reduce recovery times and get players back into top shape. Some of his previous professional experience includes his work in the athletic department at Cal State Northridge and as part of the medical support teams for the Crossfit Games, the Seattle Reign, the Association of Volleyball Professionals, and AIDS LifeCycle.

“I am excited to be a part of the team at Optimal Health Spine & Wellness,” says Dr. John Chevigny. “As an experienced chiropractor, I assist patients with a multi-modal approach to health and wellness; helping them to recover faster and address issues at their source. I look forward to developing ongoing relationships with my patients and colleagues.”

Dr. Nicole Leshaw graduated at the top of her class from Southern California of Health Sciences and has been part of the practice at the Normandy Park location since November 2015. She offers patients her experience in full spine adjusting, functional taping, and soft tissue and sports rehabilitation. Dr. Leshaw has a unique connection to chiropractic. After multiple car accidents, sports injuries, and systemic health issues, she has never been healthier. Her life as an athlete enables her to understand how the body moves and how all parts relate to each other resulting in a biomechanical approach to all care. Educating the patients and helping them to understand their bodies better is a priority.

“Chiropractic gave me my life back in more ways than one,” shares Dr. Leshaw. “It enables me to live an active and energetic lifestyle again. I chose to become a chiropractor because I do not want anyone to feel as hopeless as I did. I want to pay it forward.”

Drs. John Chevigny and Nicole Leshaw, respected chiropractors at Optimal Health Spine & Wellness, serve residents of Burien, Des Moines, SeaTac, and Normandy Park. Patients benefit from a holistic approach to injury rehabilitation and pain relief. Services include chiropractic care and massage therapy.
