Community Bank of the Chesapeake Supports Bonnie Barrett for United Way of Calvert County 2017 Mardi Gras Queen Campaign


WALDORF, Md., Feb. 07, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Community Bank of the Chesapeake’s Market Manager for Calvert County, Bonnie Barrett, is running for the 2017 United Way of Calvert County Mardi Gras Queen. United Way of Calvert County hosts its annual Mardi Gras fundraising gala to benefit their Community Impact Fund. Candidates compete for the King or Queen title by raising the most donations to support United Way.

Bonnie Barrett is the Market Manager for Community Bank of the Chesapeake. She is also a dedicated member of the Calvert County community and participates in several organizations throughout the county. Bonnie is raising funds for United Way of Calvert County by hosting a number of events. All proceeds raised at these events go to the United Way and equal a vote for Bonnie Barrett as 2017 Mardi Gras Queen. Her next event will be held on February 20, 2017, at the Holiday Inn Solomon’s Conference, “Make-up Made Special,” and on February 25, 2017, a dance and Lip Sync Battle will take place at the Solomon’s Volunteer Fire Department.
