Amdocs Named Leader in Gartner’s 2016 Magic Quadrant for Integrated Revenue and Customer Management (IRCM) for CSPs

ST. LOUIS, Feb. 15, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Amdocs (NASDAQ:DOX), the leading provider of customer experience solutions, today announced Gartner has positioned Amdocs in the Leaders quadrant in its Integrated Revenue and Customer Management (IRCM) Magic Quadrant report for communications service providers (CSPs)*, based on its ability to execute and completeness of vision. The Gartner IRCM Magic Quadrant evaluates solutions that provide billing, customer care, rating, charging, pricing, partner relationship management, policy management, mediation, self-service, analytics and other related functions.

According to Gartner, leaders are vendors that would be included on shortlists for IRCM solutions at large and midsize service providers worldwide, and which demonstrate ongoing profitable growth and global presence. Gartner also see leaders as vendors that offer leading-edge and scalable technology and functionality, engage in innovative projects, execute and deliver to their customers’ satisfaction, and which are attuned to market trends and direct R&D investment accordingly.

“Amdocs has been in the leaders quadrant since the inception of Gartner’s IRCM Magic Quadrant report,” said Gary Miles, chief marketing officer at Amdocs. “Over the past year, we’ve made considerable investments in our core IRCM offerings, including the recent introduction of embedded artificial intelligence capabilities from several leading AI platforms such as Amazon’s Alexa and Facebook’s bots within our CES 10.1 Digital Care and Commerce systems. At TM Forum Live! Asia in December, we demonstrated these capabilities as part of the “Cognitive Digital Agent” Catalyst project championed by Globe Telecom which showcased the next generation of customer service and won “Best in Show”.”

Recent Amdocs wins in the revenue and customer management domain include Three Ireland, for IT digital transformation under a five-year managed services contract, Vodafone India, to support its postpaid billing systems under a five-year managed services contract, and Biznet, to support its business and subscriber growth with a comprehensive customer care and billing solution.
