DALLAS, Feb. 17, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Internationally renowned Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chão today opened its newest location in the luxurious One Uptown high-rise apartment tower at 2619 McKinney Ave., Dallas. The new restaurant marks Fogo de Chão’s 35th location in the United States. There are currently 47 Fogo de Chão restaurants, worldwide.

“Our Addison, Texas location opened in 1997 and was the first place in the world to host a Fogo de Chão outside of Brazil,” said Larry Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of Fogo de Chão. “We’re excited to add a second Dallas-area location in the heart of Uptown, one of the most dynamic and fastest-growing neighborhoods in the country, and believe that our guests will love our new space at One Uptown.”

Fogo de Chão shares the Brazilian gaucho traditions of churrasco, the art of roasting meats over an open fire, and espeto corrido, or “continuous service.” The menu features a wealth of savory, fire-roasted meats that are prepared and carved tableside for each guest by a team of authentic Brazilian-trained gaucho chefs. Guest favorites include filet mignon, lamb chops and ribeye, as well signature Brazilian cuts like their house specialty Picanha sirloin. As a complement to the variety of protein options, guests can also enjoy the gourmet Market Table and Feijoada Bar, which includes seasonal salads, soups, fresh vegetables, Feijoada (Brazilian black bean stew), and authentic Brazilian side dishes. To celebrate the new location, an introductory price of $46.50 is being offered for dinner.

Boasting a vibrant dining room, expansive outdoor patio and lively bar area, the new Uptown Dallas location offers a variety of dining options and experiences for everyone, including the Gaucho Lunch, a customizable experience designed to accommodate the busy schedules of weekday diners and business professionals, starting at $15 for the Market Table. Guests may also choose to add a single selection of fire-roasted meat, all for under $25.

The Brazilian Brunch, introduced to celebrate family and friends on Saturdays and Sundays for only $36.95 is a guest favorite. The menu includes the Full Churrasco experience, an expanded Market Table with fresh seasonal fruits, Greek Yogurt and some special, Brazilian-inspired breakfast items like Pão de Queijo Egg Bake, Braised Beef Rib Hash and a Seasonal Sunday Roast. To complement the experience, Fogo de Chão offers a special Brunch Bar in the main dining room where guests can enjoy made-to-order Caipirinhas and classic American brunch cocktails with Brazilian twists such as their cachaça Bloody Mary and Passion Fruit Mimosa.

For those craving the authentic Fogo de Chão experience in a more casual way, Bar Fogo serves smaller, shareable plates, entrée items like their new Picanha Burger and Xingu Braised Beef Rib Sliders, a variety of craft cocktails, award-winning wines and happy hour specials located in the bar area and patio of the restaurant.
