Revulytics’ Investment in Software Usage Analytics Propels Growth

Five consecutive years of revenue growth and profitability strengthened by acquisition and new offerings; fueled by new customers and expanded market for solutions and services

WALTHAM, Mass., Feb. 23, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Revulytics, Inc., a leading provider of software usage analytics, today announced continued strong growth and market expansion in 2016. Investment in new and enhanced solutions that give software producers deep and actionable insight into who is using their applications and how they are being used was key to that growth.

Revulytics’ acquisition of Trackerbird Limited in March expanded its software usage analytics with new offerings for product management, software development, and marketing professionals. Key customer acquisitions and renewals cemented the company’s position as the leading and trusted provider of compliance analytics solutions. Revulytics’ global customers include market-leading software companies, seven of the top 10 CAM vendors, as well as six of the top PLM and CAD vendors. Since 2010, Revulytics software intelligence has supported customer compliance programs that have generated more than $1.8 billion in new license revenue. With the expanded software usage analytics solutions, Revulytics technology has been deployed in more than 50 million installations across 200 countries.

“Revulytics is taking its vision to give software producers insight into how their applications are being used – and their ability to make data-driven decisions – to the next level,” said Joseph Noonan, President and CEO of Revulytics. “We’re proud to have a track record of profitability and success in the innovative and competitive Boston market and beyond, and we’ve doubled our headcount and office space in anticipation of continued growth. The combination of Usage Intelligence and Compliance Intelligence provides software vendors and creators of enterprise applications new and advanced visibility into product usage to increase license revenue, build better products, and drive end-user adoption.”

“Usage Intelligence has been a game-changer and true competitive advantage for us,” said the director of product management at an enterprise software vendor. “By understanding how customers interact with our applications, we’ve already made specific product enhancements that have increased customer satisfaction and driven new revenue as users adopt the latest version of our software.”

After rebranding as Revulytics in November, the company announced the latest version of its Usage Intelligence solution, the first purpose built software usage analytics tools for Windows, Mac, and Linux. At the same time the company continued to raise the bar on delivering actionable intelligence for its compliance customers. Revulytics’ professional services team migrated 93 percent of its enterprise customers to a new machine-centric dashboard enabling them to prioritize data on millions of noncompliant organizations, and quickly and easily identify and act on compliance revenue opportunities. Equally important, they are able to comply with data protection regulations without impacting their ability to collect and analyze infringement data.

To accommodate doubled headcount and accelerated growth, the company recently moved to a new office in Waltham, Mass. The new space offers state-of-the-art facilities for customer training, product development and testing, and consulting and revenue services. Revulytics also added key management positions to support customer and partner growth with John Forbes as SVP, Worldwide Sales & Services, and Chip Greer as VP, Corporate and Business Development.
