PostNord has just announced that, effective from 1 January 2018, they will introduce a new production method. It is FK Distribution’s immediate assessment that this decision may result in some of PostNord’s customers in the market for weekly newspapers and unaddressed printed matter opting for FK Distribution to distribute their printed matter.
The market for distribution of weekly newspapers and unaddressed printed matter has been on the decline since 2010, and this trend will undoubtedly continue. Should some of PostNord’s current customers opt to cooperate with FK Distribution, expectations are, however, that – all things being equal – this will have a positive effect on FK Distribution’s revenue and performance.
For 2017, North Media A/S still expects group revenue to be between DKK 865 million and DKK 910 million, and EBIT before special items to range between a negative DKK 5 million and a negative DKK 30 million.
