MARTELA OYJ PRESS RELEASE 30 March 2017 at 1 p.m.
Martela Oyj’s subsidiary Kidex Oy (“Company”) has concluded the consultations with the employee representatives. Kidex Oy is contract manufacturer for Martela Oyj’s wooden furniture components.
As a result of consultations Kidex temporarily lays off 36 employees at a maximum between 12 April 2017 and 30 April 2018. The maximum duration of a lay-off per employee is 90 days.
With the temporary lay-offs Company adjusts the level of personnel to demand fluctuations in production.
