Issue of supplementary Tier 2 capital in the amount of EUR 300m


Silkeborg, 2017-03-30 15:58 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On 30 March 2017, and with value date on 5 April 2017, Jyske Bank has issued new supplementary Tier 2 capital (12 non-call 7) in the amount of EUR 300m at an interest rate of EUR mid swap + 1.9%, corresponding to 3-month CIBOR + 1.8%.

 

The issue is part of Jyske Bank's gradual adjustment of the capital structure to the long-term objective of a Common Equity Tier 1 capital ratio of 14% and a capital ratio of 17.5%. The issue takes place in direct continuation of the corporate announcement of 20 March 2017, in which Jyske Bank announced that investigations of the possibility of issuing subordinated Tier 2 capital in EUR had been initiated.

 

Following the issue, Jyske Bank's hybrid core capital and Tier 2 capital will total DKK 5.7bn, corresponding to 3.1% of the weighted risk exposure as at 31 December 2016.
