InterDigital Issues Revenue Guidance for Second Quarter 2017

WILMINGTON, Del., May 11, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- InterDigital, Inc. (NASDAQ:IDCC), a mobile technology research and development company, today announced that it expects its total second quarter 2017 revenue to be between $130 million and $135 million, with recurring revenue in the range of $84 million to $89 million and past sales revenue of $46 million.  The guidance includes the total amount to be paid pursuant to a second quarter 2017 settlement.  The range does not include any amounts related to the remaining patents due to be transferred under the Huawei patent license agreement. Such transfer was originally expected to take place by the end of second quarter 2017, but the transfer is now expected to be completed in third quarter 2017.

This revenue guidance is based primarily on royalty reports received to date, and does not include the potential impact of any new patent license, technology solutions or patent sale agreements that may be signed, or any arbitration or dispute resolutions that may occur, during the balance of second quarter 2017.
