ANCHORAGE, Ala., May 25, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Northrim BanCorp, Inc. (Nasdaq:NRIM) today announced the hiring of Michael Huston to serve as Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer of Northrim Bank, effective immediately.
Huston was formerly with First Interstate BancSystem, Inc. headquartered in Billings, Montana, rising to the level of Executive Vice President and Chief Banking Officer after serving as regional president in Wyoming overseeing the Casper, Jackson, Riverton, Cheyenne, and Laramie markets, as well as serving as a commercial loan manager earlier in his career.

Mike earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, graduating Magna Cum Laude, with a President’s Scholarship from Arizona State University. He is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School. Huston is very active in his community, having served as president or as a board member for the Montana Bankers Association, the United Way of Natrona County, the Casper Public Utilities Advisory Board, the Amoco Reuse Agreement Joint Powers Board, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming and its Endowment Foundation, Casper Area Economic Development Association, the Casper College Foundation, and the Wyoming Building Corporation.
