SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif., June 01, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Fox Factory Holding Corp. (NASDAQ:FOXF) ("FOX" or the “Company”) today announced details for its voluntary recall of certain aftermarket Harley-Davidson shock absorber products due to potential fall and injury hazards.

Name of Product: Certain aftermarket Harley-Davidson shock absorbers
Hazard: The attachment eyelet of the shock absorbers can fail posing a fall and injury hazard.
Remedy: Repair
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled shock absorbers and return them to the place of purchase for a free repair. Consumers unable to return their product should contact FOX (as below) for instructions on receiving a free repair.

Units: Approximately 2,460 shock absorbers
Description: This recall involves certain FOX brand Harley-Davidson compatible motorcycle inline shock absorbers (non-piggyback design) purchased in the aftermarket after September 14, 2016. Affected shocks have a small hole on the top of the attachment eyelet. Recalled shocks and corresponding motorcycle models can be identified at ridefox.com/recall or by calling toll-free at 877-813-5464.
Incidents/Injuries: No accidents or injuries have been reported.
Sold at: Independent motorcycle dealers nationwide. Sold as sets for about $649-$849
Manufacturer: Fox Factory, Watsonville, Calif.
