Patton Appoints CSSA as Certified Channel Partner

Now, with SmartNode VoIP gateways and E-SBCs readily accessible to CSSA members, the Patton-CSSA collaboration makes it easy for independent US telecom operators to transition to All-IP telephony

GAITHERSBURG, Md., June 01, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Patton Electronics—US manufacturer of UC, cloud, and IoT enabling solutions for carrier, enterprise and industrial networks—has appointed Communications Supply Service Association (CSSA) as a Certified Channel Partner the two companies announced today.

The new partnership will make it easy for the CSSA membership of independent telephone companies in the United States to transition to all-IP telephony services by providing Patton’s SmartNode VoIP gateways and enterprise session border controllers (E-SBCs) to their installation-base throughout the US.

“We are proud to represent Patton in the independent US Carrier marketplace,” said Scott Davison, Vice President of Strategic Product Development at CSSA. “SmartNode VoIP equipment is the ideal customer premise solution for independent carriers that want to ease their business customers into SIP trunking and IP communications.”

“Patton gateways interoperate seamlessly with every telephony manufacturer in the business. The stability of SmartNode is world-renowned and USA-based manufacturing is a key factor for our members,” Davison said.

Patton’s VoIP devices are designed to IP-enable legacy phone equipment so independent carriers can update and consolidate their networks while delivering SIP-based services to business customers who want to keep their existing phone systems.

“Patton is excited to join forces with a distributor that has developed such strong business relationships in the independent telecom industry,” said Sean Gerrity, US Sales Director at Patton.

“CSSA has a time-tested reputation among independent US carriers and service providers,” Gerrity added. ”Their membership and installer partners are trusted and well-known.”

Patton’s US-manufactured SmartNode VoIP devices are widely deployed throughout Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, where they are highly-reputed for quality and reliability.

Yet, ironically, as a mid-sized American company, Patton has sometimes been overlooked by independent US carriers and service providers, which favor well-known, trusted distributors… like CSSA.

Last month Patton announced its cloud-smart VoIP appliance that clears obstacles to All-IP.
