Navy Seeks Sit-Stand Desktop Workstations

Responses Due by June 15


West Bethesda, Maryland, June 02, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The U.S. Department of the Navy, Naval Sea Systems Command, at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Carderock Division released on Friday, June 2 a solicitation in which it outlined plans to acquire and install 31 sit-stand desktop workstations, 30 of which must be 35" standing desk height adjustable workstations, and one of which must be 27" standing desk height adjustable workstation.

The NAICS code is 337214, the business size standard is 1,000 employees, and the Navy intends to award a firm fixed-price purchase order using Simplified Acquisition procedures.

The Navy, according to the solicitation, will base its evaluation of proposals on whether the contractor can provide the required workstations and how much the workstations will cost.

Interested and capable contractors must respond by no later than 12 p.m. ET on June 15 by e-mail to Contract Specialist Gary Whitney at gary.whitney@navy.mil with the following information:

  • Company name
  • Point of contact, including name and phone number
  • DUNS number
  • Pricing

The contractor who receives this contract also must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database and have as part of the Registration all current Representations and Certifications.
