MacB CEO Delivers Keynote Lectures to MBA Students at George Mason University

Dayton, Ohio, June 05, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company delivering advanced engineering services, cybersecurity and product solutions, today announced that President and Chief Executive Officer Sid Fuchs recently delivered two keynote lectures to MBA students enrolled in George Mason University’s (GMU) School of Business. This is the third year that Mr. Fuchs was invited to address graduate students at GMU who are enrolled in leadership, networking and strategy development classes that offer exposure to top government contracting executives as part of the curriculum.

George Mason University is located near Washington D.C. in the heart of Northern Virginia’s technology corridor, with four campuses in Virginia and one in Songdo, Korea. It’s the largest public research university in the state, with an enrollment of more than 34,000 students from 130 countries. The School of Business is among only 25 percent of accredited business schools worldwide in both business and accounting by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

Mr. Fuchs spoke to MBA students this month on the growth strategies and business development techniques that National Security and Defense companies like MacB have implemented in the last six years in a challenging and ever-changing government contracting environment. He was invited to speak to the class by GMU Adjunct Professor Dennis J. Kelly, the President and CEO of Buchanan & Edwards.

In May, Mr. Fuchs also presented to more than 30 students enrolled in a Leadership and Networking class taught by Dr. John Hillen, Professor of Practice and Executive-in-Residence at GMU.

“My goal when presenting to MBA students is to encourage them to openly discuss what successful networking concepts, business strategies and marketing techniques look like and how to constantly reevaluate them over time,” said Fuchs. “The challenge is helping graduate students learn how to take their theories and integrate them into successful business initiatives with careful planning, execution and focus.”

“As an adjunct professor at GMU, I want graduate students to learn how to use their creativity and problem-solving skills when faced with the challenges and road blocks all will encounter throughout our careers,” said Kelly. “Sid’s more than 30 years of industry experience, leadership, and stellar track record makes him a great fit to speak to a group of talented MBA students who all bring an interesting mix of perspectives to the table.”
