Fingerprint Cards AB has finalized the acquisition of Delta ID


On February 1, 2017, Fingerprint Cards AB (FingerprintsTM) announced that the company was acquiring the California-based company Delta ID and that the acquisition was subject to regulatory approvals. Fingerprints has today finalized the acquisition of Delta ID. Through the acquisition, biometric security solutions within iris recognition technology are included in Fingerprints' product portfolio.

The acquisition creates significant synergies and Fingerprints will be able to offer the market multi-modal solutions combining world-leading iris recognition with fingerprint sensors.
