AFARAK MOGALE TO SHUT DOWN FOR MAINTENANCE
Afarak Mogale will be shutting down P1 furnace temporarily for unscheduled maintenance from the 24th of July to end of August and P2 & P3 furnaces will be down for scheduled maintenance for a week.
It is expected that around 5,500 tonnes of charge chrome will not be produced. The Company is still assessing the extent of the impact on the financial performance in Q3 and has initiated talks with insurers.
