Appointment of Mr. Benoit Brouillette to the Position of Labplas Chief Executive Officer


SAINTE-JULIE, Quebec, July 19, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mrs. Danielle Lafond, President and Chief Executive Officer of Labplas, is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Benoit Brouillette to the position of Chief Executive Officer at Labplas. Mr. Brouillette is succeeding Mrs. Danielle Lafond, who will maintain her current role as President.

With more than 10 years of manufacturing experience, holding a Bachelor degree in Business Administration with a specialization in International Business from HEC, Mr. Brouillette has also completed management training at the Entrepreneurship School of Beauce. In addition to having completed a university program in science, technology and food safety, Benoit also has extensive knowledge and experience in the sterile products industry. He previously held the positions of Quality Coordinator and Assistant Production Manager in the organization for more than 7 years. Throughout his career, he has acquired an in-depth knowledge of the operating conditions of a growing company and the implementation of new processes in the environment of manufacturing SMEs.

Mr. Brouillette's first mandate is to implement an accelerated growth program named Gazelles. This method equips companies with tools and methodologies to manage growth while keeping a common objective and maintaining profitability. Furthermore, Mr. Brouillette will be mandated to bring Labplas up to par with Industry 4.0.
