CARLETON PLACE, Ontario, Aug. 28, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- RockGarden (“Company”) is pleased to announce that it received its ACMPR (“Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations”) license from Health Canada on August 25th, 2017. With the granting of its license, RockGarden is permitted to begin cultivating medicinal cannabis at its facility, located in Carleton Place, Ontario. At the time of licensing, RockGarden became the 55th company in Canada to receive a cultivation license from Health Canada under the ACMPR program.
This latest milestone follows shortly after an announcement by the Company that it is raising $8.2 million from new and existing shareholders to expand production capacity to 2,080 kilograms of dried flower annually.
