Orkuveita Reykjavíkur, 2017-09-28 23:42 CEST (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On Thursday, September 28rd 2017, Orkuveita Reykjavíkur (OR) issued new bonds in a bond auction managed by the investment banking division at Arion Bank. OR decided to accept offers for a total amount of ISK 500 million and issue bonds in the OR090546 category at a yield of 3,04%. Payment, issue and delivery of bonds is planned on October 5th 2017. A request will be made that the new bonds will be accepted for trading at the Icelandic Stock Exchange, Nasdaq Iceland, on the same day. In the OR090546 category, bonds for the nominal value of ISK 9.781.724.833 have already been issued and traded on the Icelandic Stock Exchange.
In the auction, indexed 29 year annuity bonds were offered in the OR090546 category, indexed annuity bonds to nearly 7 years in the OR090524 category as well as coupon bonds to 5 years in the OR011222 category. Total offers amounted to ISK 1.500m at a yield between 2,95 – 3,09% in the OR090546 category, a yield between 3,25 – 3,30% in the OR090524 category and at a yield of 5,89% in the OR011222 category.
