DNA has been invited to New York to open the trading at the Nasdaq stock market on 31 October 2017 in honour of its listing a year ago. DNA announced its listing plan in October last year, and trading with DNA's shares started at the beginning of December 2016. DNA's initial public offering was the biggest in Finland in over ten years.
DNA's CEO Jukka Leinonen will ring the Nasdaq marketplace opening bell in New York today. The bell ceremony will begin at 9:20 a.m. local US time (3:20 p.m. Finnish time), and trading will begin at 9:30 a.m. The ceremony will begin with a presentation of DNA by Nasdaq, after which Jukka Leinonen will give a speech. DNA will receive visibility on the Times Square billboard during the bell ceremony.
Timo Karppinen, Chief Financial Officer, Vilhelmiina Wahlbeck, Vice President of Corporate Communications, and Marja Mäkinen, Head of Investor Relations, will also represent DNA at the ceremony.
