To Celebrate the Anniversary of America’s Game®, The Paley Center for Media will Present an Exclusive Exhibit Featuring Interactive Games, Vanna’s Gowns, Memorabilia, Photos, and More from November 15 to December 3, 2017

NEW YORK, NY – October 31, 2017 – For over three decades, Wheel of Fortune has delighted generations of viewers. To celebrate their milestone thirty-fifth anniversary season., The Paley Center for Media will present the new exhibit Wheel of Fortune: 35 Years as America’s Game, and a special PaleyLive program with the show’s hosts and executive producer that will take a look back at the show’s history through the present day.

 

Wheel of Fortune: 35 Years as America’s Game is a visually stunning and immersive exhibit that will take fans into the world of “America’s Game,” with exciting interactive games, memorabilia including the beloved ceramic Dalmatian Sheldon, Vanna’s glamorous gowns, videos that look at the show’s rich history and how it has changed the lives of its contestants, and so much more. Admission to the exhibit is free and will open to the public on November 15.

 

Also on November 15, the Paley Center will host a special PaleyLive program with Wheel hosts Pat Sajak and Vanna White, and Executive Producer Harry Friedman, as they take a spin through Wheel history, reliving memorable moments. They will also discuss how the game show is produced on a daily basis, as well as how the program has evolved through the decades. The evening will feature classic clips, and our panelists will take questions from the audience. The discussion will begin at 6:30 pm and will be moderated by ABC 7 entertainment reporter Sandy Kenyon.

Throughout Wheel’s 35th anniversary season, contestants and viewers will see new bonus round options and enhanced sweepstake prizes; the annual “Secret Santa Holiday Giveaway”; and the return of partnerships with top brands, including one of the world’s most iconic, Disney.

 

The exhibit is free and open to the public on November 15th and will run until December 3.  Tickets to the November 15th PaleyLive event go on sale today to Paley Supporting and Patron Members; to Paley Individual Members on Wednesday, November 1, at noon; and to the general public on Thursday, November 2, at noon.
