HHM APPOINTS JOSH LEVINE TO RUN THEIR EVER-GROWING RESTAURANTS AND BARS DIVISION

Philadelphia, Nov. 09, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- HHM recently announced the hire of Josh Levine as senior vice president of restaurants and bars, focusing on their expanding lifestyle and luxury Independent Collection’s food and beverage outlets and offerings; eventually overseeing all restaurants and bars under the HHM portfolio. Bringing Levine on in this newly-created position will allow HHM to elevate their food and beverage platform, supporting their hotels in creating unique and memorable guest experiences.

Levine joins HHM from STARR Restaurants, where he was vice president of operations and was responsible for the performance of 34 restaurants and bars. Included in his portfolio were notable restaurants in many of the markets HHM currently serves, including New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Miami.

The iconic group of STARR brands includes Buddakan, Barclay Prime, El Vez, Upland and many more – all of which feature a wide variety of cuisines. Levine also had an integral role in the openings of the recent and highly-acclaimed Le Coucou (James Beard Award Winner 2017) and The Clocktower – located in New York luxury hotels 11 Howard and New York Edition, respectively.

Levine spent 11 years with STARR, rising from entry management positions to general manager of several restaurants before receiving corporate responsibilities in 2010 as project manager of new restaurant development and later as director of restaurants.

“Josh Levine’s experience and knowledge in the restaurant and bar sector sets him up to be incredibly successful in this newly-created role,” said Naveen Kakarla, HHM president and CEO. “He is the perfect complement to our executive team and his expertise will ensure this expanding division of HHM has the attention it needs and deserves.”

Prior to STARR, Levine spent time in California as Director of Operations with Kings Seafood Company. He received his bachelor’s degree in organization and team development from the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business.
