Building the Cyber Team Through Education, Research and Training


Augusta, Georgia, Jan. 09, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AFCEA International is hosting the first Cyber Education, Research and Training Symposium (CERTS*) connecting military and agency stakeholders with solution providers from academia, business and research centers. The event takes place January 17-18 at the Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center in Georgia.

CERTS will feature keynote speakers, panels and breakout sessions promoting discussion between operators and supporting professionals. It will include information about the plans and priorities needed to build and sustain cyber competencies, operate in this complex space and defend the nation’s cyber domain.

Leaders from across the U.S. Defense Department, industry and academia will discuss the challenges, near-term requirements and emergent solutions to learn, operate and succeed in cyberspace.

  • Col. Andrew O. Hall, USA, director, Army Cyber Institute
