HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Jan. 18, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Big Screen Entertainment Group (OTC:BSEG) and Hollywood International Film Exchange (HiFEX) are pleased to announce that the animated feature film, OZZY, has been approved by SAPPRFT for a theatrical release in China on February 2, 2018, the beginning of the Chinese New Year, in 9,600 theaters with multiple screens.

Four versions are being released in China: 2D in English and Chinese and 3D in English and Chinese,” said BSEG Chairman/HiFEX CEO, Dr. Jimmy Jiang. “Our partners in China, Ocean Wave, have also manufactured a complete line of toys from this movie.”
BSEG and HiFEX worked as a bridge with their Chinese partners to bring the film OZZY to China. BSEG CEO, Kimberley Kates and President of BSEG Pictures, Stephen Eckelberry created a special 3D version of the film for release in China.
The budget for marketing the film is $10million RMB ($1.55 million USD). The film will run from February 2, 2018 to March 4, 2018 during the Chinese Winter holiday. The film will be launched and promoted through traditional media platforms such as TV, magazines and newspapers as well as social media platforms. Plans for marketing the film include tie-ins with family amusement parks and educational organizations.
The canine, animated family film has been approved by the Chinese government to be the first film released on the first day of the Chinese New Year of the Dog.
