Fraser Institute Media Advisory: How free is Canada compared to other countries? Annual ranking coming Thursday, Jan. 25


TORONTO, Jan. 24, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On Thursday, Jan. 25, the Fraser Institute and a network of international think-tanks will release the Human Freedom Index, a global measurement of personal, civil, and economic freedoms.

The report compares the level of human freedom in 159 countries and jurisdictions—including Canada—using 76 indicators including freedom of speech, women’s rights, religion and individual economic choice.
