Sound Community Bank and Sound Financial Bancorp Announce Passing of Director Emeritus


SEATTLE, Jan. 24, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sound Community Bank and its holding company, Sound Financial Bancorp, announce the passing of Director Emeritus Milton (Milt) McMullen.

Director Emeritus McMullen passed away on January 15, 2018.  McMullen served as a director for the Bank and the holding company from 2003 until his retirement to emeritus status in May 2014.

Before Sound Community Bank converted to a mutual savings bank, McMullen served on the Supervisory Committee of the credit union.  He joined the Bank’s board when the credit union converted in 2003.  Prior to his service on the Board, McMullen was a banking industry executive and also a banking software sales executive.
