Zoom Expands Europe Market Reach through Distribution Agreement with Ingram Micro

Video Communications Leader Teams up with Largest Global Distributor to Bring Next-Generation Collaboration Solutions to the IT & AV Channel

LONDON, Jan. 25, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Zoom Video Communications, the leading provider of enterprise video communications technology, today announced that it has entered into a Europe distribution agreement with Ingram Micro, the leading global distributor of technology products and services, to expand its reach into the IT and AV channel. Under the new alliance, channel partners across Europe will now be able to source Zoom's suite of video communications and conference room solutions from Ingram Micro.

Teaming up with Ingram Micro creates many benefits for Zoom's existing and new European channel partners, including:

  • Single Supplier for both hardware and software licenses for Zoom Rooms, Zoom's software-based conference room system (zoom.us/zoomrooms), with a one-stop-shop for Logitech, Apple, AVer, and Intel products
  • Single Supplier for hardware that run the Zoom Connectors for Polycom and Cisco, and the Zoom software license that enables these conference room systems to join Zoom cloud meetings with a single touch
  • Sales and enablement support for new and existing Zoom channel partners across Europe. Partners can take full advantage of Ingram Micro’s range of services, including financial services, technical pre- and post-sales support, training, logistics, and lifecycle services

“Zoom’s goal is to deliver robust and easy-to-use enterprise video communications. The IT and AV channel community is instrumental in helping us to achieve that goal,” said Daniel Creigh, head of UK and Ireland, Zoom Video Communications. “With its position as the world's largest wholesale technology distributor and a global leader in the IT supply chain, Ingram Micro will accelerate the pace at which Zoom can expand its reach. Furthermore, the agreement enables channel partners to specify our solutions alongside complementary vendor products to offer their customers a complete solution. This creates exciting new opportunities for the entire IT and AV channel across Europe,” he added.

“We are pleased to be adding Zoom's high-quality video communications offerings to our growing UC portfolio and bringing new opportunities to our partners," said Brooke Ellingworth, Senior Manager, Unified Communication and Collaboration, EMEA at Ingram Micro. “Unified communications and collaboration represents a high-growth, high-margin sales and service opportunity for our channel partners and a rapidly developing category for Ingram Micro in Europe."
