Visionstate Corp. Announces Partnership With UK-Based Bunzl for Global Distribution of Wanda™

EDMONTON, Alberta, Feb. 08, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Visionstate Corp. (TSX VENTURE:VIS) ("Visionstate" or the "Company") is pleased to announce it has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement for its proprietary WANDA™ solution with Bunzl, an international distribution group based in the UK. (Wanda is a trademark of Visionstate Inc., registered in the United States and other countries).

The agreement provides exclusive rights to Bunzl to distribute Visionstate’s WANDA product, an Internet of Things (IoT) solution that tracks cleaning, maintenance and supplies in high traffic areas for the building services sector.  This agreement will accelerate distribution of WANDA technology into hospitals, retail, airports and office buildings worldwide.

Visionstate entered into the agreement based on Bunzl’s ability to market and distribute WANDA to a global audience.  It enables Visionstate to focus on developing new technology for WANDA, while leveraging Bunzl’s extensive sales and distribution network.  Bunzl has private labeled the solution for their exclusive use as WandaNEXT. The Canadian launch is scheduled to commence roll out February 12, 2018.

With the recent acquisition of Chatbot Incubator, Visionstate is currently working to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into the next version of WANDA. More details about WANDA technology and its capabilities can be found at http://visionstate.com/downloads.

“Visionstate is thrilled to expand our distribution footprint with a company like Bunzl,” said Visionstate CEO John Putters. “This relationship leverages the strengths of both companies, maximizing our collective capacity to bring the technology to market on a global scale.”

“IoT solutions and advanced analytics is the next logical evolution of this industry,” Putters explains. “Analytics in particular provides valuable insights into the efficiency of cleaning and maintaining public areas. It is this data and information that will drive efficiencies in the future.”

“This relationship is highly synergistic “, said Margo Hunnisett, Sr. Director Marketing and Communications at Bunzl Canada.  “Visionstate is at the forefront of IoT technology.  They are an important partner in bringing our customers innovation which drives value through increased efficiency, improved quality and reduced costs”.
