Mobile-First Agency Fetch Promotes Guillaume Lelait to U.S. CEO Following 5 Years of Accelerated Growth

SAN FRANCISCO, March 20, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Fetch, the global mobile-first agency and part of the Dentsu Aegis Network, today announced the promotion of Guillaume Lelait from U.S. Managing Director to U.S. CEO. This is a newly created role for Lelait and the agency’s first market CEO.

In addition to overseeing all U.S. operations for Fetch, Lelait will take on increased responsibility for the alignment of Fetch’s “mobile first” approach within Dentsu Aegis Network Americas. He will also identify and evaluate Fetch’s possible acquisition targets in order to broaden the range of services that the agency provides to clients.

“Guillaume has built Fetch in the U.S. to be the most established mobile-first agency in the country. Under Guillaume’s leadership the agency has achieved phenomenal growth while booking landmark digital economy business including Facebook, Mozilla, Hulu and Expedia,” said James Connelly, Executive Chairman and Founder of Fetch. “As our U.S. business matures, Guillaume is the perfect candidate to take us to the next stage in order to capitalize on our ambitious vision.”

As Fetch’s Managing Director in the U.S. for five years, Lelait grew revenues in the region by over 20 times and the team from 6 to 100 employees. In 2017, Fetch’s new business wins under Lelait accounted for over 40% of the company’s U.S. revenue.

“It has been a privilege working with this team from the very beginning to build Fetch’s presence in the U.S.,” said Lelait. “I’m excited to continue working with our clients to push boundaries with world class mobile-first work. The U.S. remains a very dynamic market for digital expertise and I am confident we will build on the great momentum we had those past years.”

A pioneer in mobile marketing, Lelait joined the agency in 2011 from Phonevalley (Publicis Groupe’s mobile arm), where he served as UK Account Director and executed mobile strategies on behalf of brands including McDonald's, Nissan, NSPCC, Pfizer, Purina and Shell. Before joining Phonevalley, he was a Mobile Project Manager at Fnac.com, where he contributed to launch one of the first m-commerce sites in France.
