ORLANDO, Fla., April 11, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- uBreakiFix announced significant growth for the first quarter of 2018, boasting a total of 21 new stores. These first quarter additions bring the brand’s total footprint to 375 stores across North America.

Between January 1 and March 31, uBreakiFix grew from 354 stores to 375 stores, marking a 16 percent increase over last year’s first quarter growth. Fastest growing markets included Idaho and Florida, each with three new locations, as well as Indiana, Texas, Arizona, New Jersey, and Virginia, each with two new locations.

On March 15, uBreakiFix announced a partnership with Samsung Electronics America to provide same-day, in-person authorized service to Samsung Galaxy mobile owners across the U.S. As an authorized service provider, uBreakiFix offers both in and out-of-warranty repairs at more than 300 locations nationwide, with most repairs completed in two hours or less.

Between April 1 and June 30, uBreakiFix expects to open 30 new stores, with plans to launch in two new states, Missouri and Utah, while continuing to grow in existing markets. During the second quarter, uBreakiFix also plans to announce new strategic partnerships that will allow the brand to further amplify the support options available to customers.

“At uBreakiFix, our commitment to our customers is what drives our continual growth, innovation, and improvement,” said uBreakiFix president and co-founder Justin Wetherill. “This quarter has set the tone for a big year ahead, and we look forward to continued success as the year progresses.”

Additional first quarter milestones included Wetherill’s induction into the Forbes Technology Council, as well as a top spot for uBreakiFix on Entrepreneur’s most competitive Franchise 500® to date. The company ranked #18 on the overall list, #1 in the Electronics Repair category, and #1 on the Top New Franchises list. In 2016 and 2017, uBreakiFix ranked #499 and #93 respectively.

“Since we first made the Franchise 500 list in 2016, we have added nearly 200 locations and entered into partnerships with some of the biggest names in the industry,” Wetherill said. “We believe that success is a byproduct of doing things the right way for our customers, franchisees, and team members, and we are humbled to serve as the go-to tech repair resource for communities nationwide.”

uBreakiFix is known for its ability to repair anything with a power button. To date, uBreakiFix has repaired nearly 4 million devices, including phones, tablets, computers, gaming consoles, and beyond. uBreakiFix offers free diagnostics, and each repair is backed with a 90-day warranty.

uBreakiFix was founded in 2009 by a savvy millennial duo, Justin Wetherill and David Reiff, who married their skillsets with Eddie Trujillo to offer a brick and mortar tech repair option that was quick, affordable, and provided a quality customer experience. By filling a gap in the repair marketplace, the company has grown organically without investors or consultants.
