Sonendo® Ships 50,000 GentleWave® Procedure Instruments to Endodontists

LAGUNA HILLS, Calif., April 24, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- With Root Canal Awareness Week just eleven days away, Sonendo®, the developer of the GentleWave® System, has achieved a significant milestone by shipping more than 50,000 GentleWave Procedure Instruments to endodontists in the United States.

The timing of the achievement, is notable, given the proximity to both the upcoming US consumer Root Canal Awareness Week, 6-12 May 2018, and the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) annual meeting which will take place this week, 25-28 April 2018, in Denver, Colorado.

About this milestone, Bjarne Bergheim, President & CEO of Sonendo, stated, “We are excited by the market response to the GentleWave System - both from patients and endodontists alike. We look forward to sharing more exciting results at this year’s AAE annual meeting.”

According to an AAE survey, patient apprehension about getting a standard root canal remains high. The GentleWave Procedure continues to receive positive testimonials from patients pleased with their results and likely to recommend the procedure to friends and family who may need a root canal.
