PCL Construction Welcomes Dale Koger and Gary Birdsall to Lead PCL’s Sports Division

PCL Construction Enterprises, Inc. is pleased to welcome Dale Koger, vice president and general manager, PCL Sports Division, and Gary Birdsall, vice president, PCL Sports Division to grow the organization’s sports capabilities and portfolio. “We are excited to have two of the most experienced and recognizable professionals in the sports construction industry join our organization,” said Deron Brown, president, US Buildings.


Dale Koger
has more than 40 years of experience and has provided leadership on more than $20 billion in sports facilities, including Los Angeles’ new stadium for the Rams and the Chargers, Lincoln Financial Field, Amway Center, Madison Square Garden, and the University of Miami Watsco Center to name a few. Dale will provide business planning, strategic initiatives, staff recruitment, and oversight of preplanning, preconstruction, and construction-phase services for all major sports facility projects.

Gary Birdsall has 32 years of extensive construction-related sports experience, having provided professional services on more than 20 major sports projects, including Levi’s Stadium, Golden 1 Center, Yankee Stadium, University of Washington Husky Stadium, Petco Park, and most recently the Banc of California Stadium for the Los Angeles Football Club to name a few. He also has abundant experience in convention centers and Olympic facilities. Gary has worked closely with Dale for over two decades.
