SELIGSON & CO OMX HELSINKI 25 EXCHANGE TRADED FUND UCITS ETF: EXPANSION OF THE BRANCH OF ACTIVITY OF THE MANAGING COMPANY
The Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority has amended the authorization of the managing company of Seligson & Co OMX Helsinki 25 Exchange Traded Fund UCITS ETF, Seligson & Co Fund Management Company Plc. The company has, in accordance with the Act on Common Funds (chapter 2, section 5, subsection 2), been granted the authorization to offer services according to the Act on Investment Services: investment services (chapter 1, section 15) and ancillary services including asset management, investment advice, and custody of financial instruments for mutual funds and collective investment undertakings (chapter 2, section 3, subsection 1).
According to the decision made by the fund management company, which has already been communicated, the investment services company Seligson & Co Plc (the current parent company of the fund management company) will be merged into Seligson & Co Fund Management Company Plc (the currently 100% owned subsidiary) on 31 August 2018. The reason for the arrangement is to simplify the structure of the Seligson & Co group and to streamline its administration.
The changes do not affect the Seligson & Co OMX Helsinki 25 Exchange Traded Fund UCITS ETF or the funds unit holders.
