Clearwater Community Volunteers Center Unites Community Betterment Activists

CLEARWATER, Fla., May 23, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On June 12, the Clearwater Community Volunteers Center, established and sponsored by the Church of Scientology in Clearwater, will host their second monthly networking luncheon. Charities are invited to make new contacts and inform other like-minded groups about their programs with the goal of forming bonds and increasing the growth of the grassroots movements that touch the lives of thousands of Tampa Bay families. There is no cost to attend and refreshments are provided.

“Here at the Clearwater Community Volunteers Center, we work with nonprofit organizations of different goals and purposes,” said Clemence Chevrot, Director for the Clearwater Community Volunteers Center. “We work with these nonprofits with the intention of creating unity between them. I believe that we are more powerful together as humanitarian L. Ron Hubbard once said, ‘A community that pulls together can make a better society for all.’ Each group works to better its own area and by combining these, we really can improve the entire society.”

With over 25 years of community service to their name, the Clearwater Community Volunteers have helped over 150,000 families and children since their founding in 1992. With the Center as an extension, they stay true to that line of work by expanding their reach into facilitating the growth of nonprofits.
